line to base station. Signal reflecting
off wall surfaces to get to the B/S.
IBurst Base Station
Alternate
location for iBurst device near a window with a possibility of line of
sight. This should be recommended to the client if
the original placement is
unsatisfactory
and the signal is bouncing through the residence/business.
PLEASE
NOTE – Signal
reflecting off another building or surface degrades the quality of signal
Line of
sight to a base station is always preferred.
To
move the device to another preferred location can be done via three methods.
o
Move your computer
equipment to the preferred location
o
Install a
wireless router and connect to this via your computers wireless network
Interface.
o
Lay an
Ethernet network cable (straight configuration) to the preferred location and
use
the Ethernet network adapter on the iBurst device for connectivity.
